The Housing Market in England and Wales

In light of the recent announcement that the housing market in England has re-opened, and pending a similar decision in Wales, we would like to re-assure our clients that at Swayne Johnson Solicitors, we are still very much open for business.

Property viewing are now permitted in England: estate agents can attend properties to take photographs ready to market a property for sale, valuations and surveys can go ahead and removal companies can resume their business, provided that social distancing guidelines are adhered to.

It is hoped that the housing market in Wales will follow suit and that property transactions can also safely resume in Wales in due course.
