Swayne Johnson Solicitors Raise £653.12 for Cancer Research

We are pleased to announce that the staff at our Denbigh, St Asaph, Ruthin and Llandudno offices
raised a whopping £653.12 at our MacMillan Coffee Mornings.

We would very much like to thank our solicitors and staff for rising to the challenge of creating delicious (and very tempting!) treats. We would also like to thank everyone that came to our offices in order to enjoy tea and coffee, cake and a chat and supporting MacMillan Cancer Research.

We would like to give a very special thank you to a number of local businesses that generously donated raffle prizes. We are grateful for their contributions.

Cancer is a disease which affects absolutely everyone. We’ve spoken in the past of the work that Macmillan as an organisation do to promote awareness of the issues around cancer, which are often not thought about.

Macmillan seek to raise awareness of these issues, but they also help with them as well. They offer help with overcoming financial hardship due to cancer, advocate for rights at work for those living with cancer that need it, and offer a range of emotional support, to name a few things. All of this is just as crucial as medical treatment.

Macmillan Cancer Support are an organisation that raises awareness of the person behind the disease, and advocates for their needs, and as such, has helped so many people in small, but very important ways.

Thanks to the generosity of those who attended our Coffee Mornings, as well as the local businesses that generously donated, we managed to raise £653.12.
