Posted on 07 Dec 2018
We’re pleased to announce that solicitors and staff from our Denbigh, St Asaph, Llandudno, Ruthin, Bangor and Tattenhall are participating in Elf Day on Friday, the 7th of December 2018. For one day only, our solicitors will be swapping their usual office attire for Santa’s Workshop attire and embracing their inner elves in the name of supporting the Alzheimer’s Society – one of the many charities which is close to our hearts.
The Alzheimer’s Society is a registered charity which provides a number of vital services to the community – assisting those who are living with dementia, family members, and carers either face-
to-face or through their free support telephone number, the National Dementia Helpline. The advisors which are part of the Alzheimer’s Society offer help, support, advice, and also social support
to anyone affected by dementia.
The Alzheimer’s Society invest substantially into dementia research, and commit a large amount of funding to cutting-edge research which has led to many breakthroughs with regard to this disease.
Furthermore, the Alzheimer’s Society also invest a lot of their funding into campaigning to ensure that dementia is a subject which is kept at the top of the political agenda, and also to raise
awareness about this condition.
The Alzheimer’s Society also offer many different ways to support those affected by this condition as well. For instance, community services across the UK. The Alzheimer’s Society also offer over 3000 services across England, Wales and Northern Ireland, including Dementia Cafes and Singing For the Brain sessions allowing those affected to discuss dementia, get answers from health professionals, as well as make new friends in a relaxed environment.
Should you see any Elves rushing around any of our offices on Friday the 7th of December, do give them a cheer for this excellent cause. Furthermore, if you wish to, please don’t hesitate to make a
donation.
The directors and the staff of Swayne Johnson Solicitors would like to wish you a Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year.
